" We are now officially launching back activities. The pandemic has largely impacted the calender of activities of The Swimming Federation of Congo. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, aquatic activities were suspened. However, security measures have been eased, we can now resume our aquatic activities with all safety measures in place. It was normal that our federation, with some of the best international swimmers of Kinsasha had suspened aquatic activities. The number one priority of the frederation ,is to take resuming of activities very seriously, as targets need to be achieved. Swimming has been selected to participate in the Francophone Games, and the priority of the committee is the preparation of the athletes, so that they can honor the country. This year we shall have many scholarships and Fina has already awarded one effective from November 2020. It is now up to the athletes to work hard and honor their wonderful discipline which is swimming." -The Swimming Federation of Congo
