Sudanese swimmer Yousif Ibrahim has made it clear, he is gunning for the Tokyo Olympic Games, after setting a national record in the 100m freestyle, in 2018 at the 14th edition of the FINA World Short Course Championships held in Hangzhou, China. The swimmer went on to post an image on the socials, with the caption stating "Happy to have finished the season with a New national record (100free).

Since then, Yousif has kept up with training and progression is evident as he claims victory at the Khartoum state meet, we he went on to win a 7km open water event, held at the Nile river, where he been spotted training. He posted a video where the cation read "A new office with a view."
