The African Swimming Confederation (CANA) launched the African Learn to Swim Programme in Johannesburg, South Africa. The CANA Bureau agreed to implement this important initiative to reduce the high level number of drownings on our Continent. Ben Rahou Mathieu from Morocco took to the waters at the World beach games to participate in the 5km open water swimming event.
