CANA Learn to Swim Programme "EVERY AFRICAN A SWIMMER", Feb 2020

The African Swimming Confederation (CANA) launched the African Learn to Swim Programme in Johannesburg, South Africa. The CANA Bureau agreed to implement this important initiative to reduce the high level number of drownings on our Continent. FINA Approves CANA Zone 4 Champs as Olympic Qualifier

We are pleased to inform you that FINA has approved the CANA Zone IV Championships, taking place from the 20th - 23rd of February 2020 in Gaborone Botswana, as a meet where swimmers can achieve the FINA "A" and "B" Swimming Qualifying Standard Times. Moroccan open water swimmer set sail at the World Beach Games

Ben Rahou Mathieu from Morocco took to the waters at the World beach games to participate in the 5km open water swimming event.
